I am an American consultant who teaches Business English in Korea. In all, I have 25 years of experience in business development and risk management, primarily in the Banking sector. I have participated in the design and implementation of training programs during my career in Europe, the Americas, and Asia. I customize each study session based on the individual student's specific needs. Course material and length will be agreed upon after an initial assessment of each individual's level of English, strengths, weaknesses, and the desired goals. Prioritized English language goals include confident communication, listening and comprehension, accuracy and fluency, professional vocabulary, prepared and impromptu discussion, and grammar. Depending on my student's skills and requirements, we may expand on preparing presentations, strategies for understanding, rhetorical questions, verb tenses, grammatical structures, and ending meetings.
Experience
Dual bachelor's degrees in International Relations and Spanish were obtained from the University of Pennsylvania. I have given 1-on-1 English classes in Korea, Spain and Hong Kong to business executives, lawyers and students.
